King Cage stainless steel bottle cages

More parts to mention. Now these King Cage stainless steel bottle cages are in use for one season. I found they are not really stainless. Although I clean the bike immediately to get off sweat and isodrinks (or whatever) after use, it's not possible to prevent rust. Finally it doesn't matter much to me. It's just superficial and I'm really satisfied with the classic look and how they match to my Eddy. (click big !)

Campagnolo Record Hubs

There are some more parts to mention. I choosed Campagnolos Record hubs at front and rear wheel, because I think they are the best you can get, if you don't wan't to spend too much. Chris King hubs are fine, but you'll get the whole set from campy for the price of a Chris King road front hub. And the hefty end comes at the rear end. I'm not shure, if you'll get much more performance. The record hubs are smooth like silk, though, a pitty that they are not available in polished silver. (click big !)

Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra SLX finished

The modernization of my classic Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra SLX was finished in 2012. But there was no blog post so far. The weight is actually 9.5kg like you see it here. Not so bad.
